The Coalition for Advancement of Lesbian Business in Africa (CALBiA) was initiated as a response to violence against lesbian women in Africa.
The program is designed to promote equality for lesbian women and transgendered persons by enabling their financial independence and so improve their situation in society.
CALBiA is a long term project and a long term investment contributing to development of small and medium businesses in Africa.
CALBiA strives to give African lesbians the knowledge and tools to help themselves, and so ensure sustainable development and improvement of their lives, both professionally and personally. The mentoring and sponsorship of entrepreneurs gives rise to a middle class and increasingly sustainable economy. This project will not only promote equality but it will help women and transgender persons to rise out of poverty.
Through journalism and activism, BTM provides reliable information and initiates dialogue about LGBTI issues in Africa to ensure that human rights are recognised as indivisible and are guaranteed for everyone.
NESsT works to solve critical social problems in emerging market countries by developing and supporting social enterprises that strengthen civil society organizations’ financial sustainability and maximize their social impact.

WyberNet vernetzt lesbische Politikerinnen, Unternehmerinnen, Freiberuflerinnen, Fachfrauen, Führungsfrauen, Kulturschaffende, Akademikerinnen …
The Coalition of African Lesbians (CAL) is a network of organisations committed to African lesbian equality and visibility. We work to transform Africa into a place where all lesbians enjoy the full range of human rights, secure in the knowledge that we are recognised as full citizens, with rich and diverse cultures, and a significant and respected presence in all spheres of life, through personal and organisational growth. Our work is shaped by an African radical feminist understanding, informed by research, and strengthened by the claiming of social and economic power.
